UK Tier 4 (General) Student VISA Documents requirements

When applying for a UK student visa, you will need to provide several documents to demonstrate your eligibility and meet the requirements set by the UK government. Here are the key documents typically required for a UK student visa application:

Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS): This is a unique reference number provided by your chosen UK educational institution. It confirms that you have been accepted for a full-time course of study and includes details such as the course, institution, and course fees.

Passport: You must have a valid passport that will remain valid for the duration of your stay in the UK. It should also have at least one blank page for the visa.

Financial Evidence: You need to show that you have enough funds to cover your tuition fees and living expenses while studying in the UK. This can be demonstrated through bank statements, scholarship letters, or a financial sponsorship letter.

Tuberculosis (TB) Test: If you are applying for a visa for more than six months and are from a country where a TB test is required, you will need to provide a valid TB test certificate.

English Language Proficiency: You may need to prove your English language proficiency, depending on the level of course you are applying for. Accepted English language tests include the IELTS, TOEFL, and Pearson Test of English (PTE).

Academic Qualifications: You will need to submit your academic transcripts and certificates to verify your previous educational qualifications, such as high school diplomas or bachelor's degrees.

Passport-size Photographs: You will be required to provide recent passport-sized photographs that meet the specific requirements set by the UK government, such as size, background color, and quality.

Proof of Accommodation: You may need to show evidence of suitable accommodation arrangements for your stay in the UK, such as a tenancy agreement or a letter from your university confirming your accommodation.

Proof of Parental or Other Legal Guardian Consent : If you are under 18, you need to show a Parental Consent letter from your parents or other legal guardian at the time of VISA submission.
